May 18th

12:00-6:00

5 Waterloo St, Warrenton, VA 20186

Featuring over 200 works of art from approximately 130 students at Foxley Atelier, this event is a showcase to celebrate all the hard work these young artists ages 5-18 have accomplished in a year!  Come celebrate them at this free event, enjoy the art created by the next generation of rising artists, get inspired, and leave a compliment for your favorite artists.  This would be the perfect activity after dining in Old Town.

Attire

This is an afternoon/evening of recognition for your young artist, if possible show them the respect their art deserves by dressing up for this event.  But there is no dress code, we know Saturdays are busy, if you have to come here straight from soccer practice we want you to show up as you are, ready to enjoy art!

02

How to display?

All Artwork must be framed and MUST have hanging wire on the back.  I will NOT display artwork that only has rings, claws, etc.  If you do not have hanging wire on the back of the picture frame it will not be displayed in the art show.

(This excludes 3D artwork... don't frame your pottery lol!)

Helpful tips

  • Pastel pictures should not touch the glass, they must be separated from glass with a mat.

  • Hobby Lobby will install the wire hardware on your frame for approx. $15.

  • Artwork doesn’t always come in standard frame sizes. Take your non-standard-frame-sized artwork to Hobby Lobby, find a frame with a mat opening that is smaller than your piece, and have the framing department cut it to your custom size.  This costs lots less than buying a mat and having it cut to size, or getting a custom frame.
